The AUS-8 component steel offers balance between toughness, edge sharpness and corrosion resistance. The steel is bonded with Carbonitride Titanium to provide an added layer of unparalleled rust and corrosion resistance. The treatment also makes the components up to 10x harder than untreated steel. With a robust dual locking system the Marlin Spike can be locked into place when not in use. It can help loosen knots with ease, unlaying rope and completely untying knots.
